Hishi Shibari, often referred to as "Kikkou Shibari," involves wrapping the rope around the body to create a strong sense of restraint and embarrassment.
Notably, the hands are not bound in Hishi Shibari, making it suitable for certain types of servitude play. It typically requires just one rope. Here are the steps:

1. Hang the center of the rope around the neck and let it drape down. Unlike other forms of tight binding where ropes are folded, the rope in Hishi Shibari is not folded.

2. Tie three knots on the front. Because the rope will later pass between these knots, causing the knots to shift upward, tie them slightly lower than where you want them to end up.

3. Thread the hanging rope through your legs and wrap it around the back, then hang it on the rope around your neck.

4. Separate the rope left and right to create a diamond shaped effect.

5. Thread the rope between the knots, forming diamond shapes in sequence. Make sure the tension is evenly distributed on both sides to avoid deformation and to create symmetrical diamonds.

6. Complete the final diamond shape.

7. Tie the remaining rope at the back.

8. Finished. Since Hishi Shibari does not bind the hands, it is often combined with a behind-the-back tie in bondage scenarios. You can add a hand-binding tie after completing Hishi Shibari.

9. The rope passing between the legs presses against the genitals and is connected to the ropes on the body. Thus, any pull on the ropes can stimulate the genitals through the rope between the legs.
